All the damage is multiplied, with exception of precision-based damage like the one from the Sneak Attack feat (which clearly states it is not multiplied). Penalties to damage usually aren't multiplied either. So, in a sense, if your M-8 Avenger has a +2 bonus, the damage it deals on a critical hit is (1d4+2)*2
As for how to determine that damage, either roll it or multiply it. Statistically, it is the same. Of course players will want to roll it if the first damage roll was low, and will want to multiply it if it was high. Don't allow such trickery :p

The old manual had a line "Any other modifers to the attack’s damage are multiplied as well unless they state they cannot be multiplied." In the new manual, with the new critical hit mechanics, it's gone. I think, you can add it back in future PDF updates.

Indeed, will add it now (though I cannot update the pdf for the moment)

The two paragraphs are identical, aside from spacing, and are repeated here on the forum and in the pdf both directly after each other

Repeat of the beginning of the sentence, directly beneath the Saving Throws title. Apologies if this isn't quite in the correct thread.

Sorry for Necro'ing again (becoming a habit)...

Been away from the project for ages and finally found a group willing to play.

Single Shot - one shot per action.

Player decides to fire twice - "Double Tap" (once with each action) but most SS weapons have 0 recoil penalty. Does this mean there is no recoil shot on each shot?

Sorry for the noob question.

Single Shot weapons cannot use Double Tap action ;). They can only fire one shot per round

Characters receive a dodge bonus to Defense equal to 1/3 BAB. Characters with full BAB receive +1 Defense at level 20th

Shield Regeneration now applies only while the character has Shield HP.

Shield HP regeneration is increased and now regenerates every action instead of every round
